Hi,

Amazing how long this thread keeps going on for - there seems to be a
lot to talk about, and it's very interesting :-)

I started it originally, and while I have found one solution, a treble
booster (Range King by the Tube Amp Doctor from Germany), I'm still
looking into the subject of overdrive pedals. What I have found I need
is a pedal that gives me warm overdrive for picked, arpeggiated chords
without breaking up. I haven't had the opportuinity to try many pedals
yet, but I THINK I need something like the early Ibanez Tube Screamer.
(Incidentally, I had one as a teenager, dunno where it went, maybe it's
still at my parents' - people are paying crazy money for it on eBay!!!!
Hope I can find it.....) One pedal I really like is a vintage Electro
Harmonix Hot Tubes (without tubes) - great with my vintage guitars.
Difficult to get, though.

Cheers,

Recky
