I bought it because it has an aptly named "Balls" knob which adds (or subtracts) body to your sound, depending on what amp you play. It doesn't colour the sound much at all. Because it sounds so much better, somehow more focused and bigger than the Pro Junior should really sound like, with the pedal, I keep it engaged all the time. That's why I need an overdrive option on top of that, which will give me additional distortion without increasing the overall volume even more. Thanks for the Maxon tip!
