Hi Sascha, well, you even do not need a plain text site ;) to make loading fast and convenient. Mostly, when I do webdesign for my customers (Banking companies, communities etc.) it is necessary to view all(!) results with at least three or four different browsers and check all results. Furthermore, I do not use (currently) flash etc. because this is nice for the first time, but bothers people if it\ufffds still there after the 3rd time ;) > As far as Emagics site goes I'm sure that after your first experience the > "design" version will get no hits at all. Personally I like the design of the site, BUT: This site could be easily made without using any proprietary code etc. and it definitely would function the same on IE and Netscape. > Don't get me wrong, I love nice webdesign, but from companies such as Emagic > I want information and slick design, that's all. IMO there always should be a balance between a "nice-looking" and "fast-loading" site, as well as the compliance to all necessary browser platforms. Personally I know a lot of sites that even won\ufffdt load if you have javascript disabled or no flash installed. Well, there are my "one-visit-wonders" :) Bye Thomas
