I've been wondering this for ages: why do people want to trigger loops from a sampler?
I can imagine when there weren't these DAWs like Logic on the market that you didn't have a choice. And playing live it's easier to have a sampler.
But with these DAWs you also have the control of chopping up audio in regions the way you like, automate fx and other parameters. But what's the advantage of using a sampler for loops?
Ok, you can't put an LFO on a region but that's the only thing I could come up with to use a sampler above a DAW.
Can you elaborate on this please?

Yoonchi.
