LAWS and SW1000XG ( was OT showing a bit of personality now and then)

Hey, heres a better Idea! With all the OT traffic on the On Topic list- leading to genuine enquiries about Logic Audio getting lost in the noise, why not post logic related questions on the off topic list- in the hope of the enquiry getting noticed, and increasing the chance of an answer? Perverse "logic", I know, so here goes:- I have an SW1000XG and logic Audio silver 3.6- (Windows) brilliant card, brilliant sequencer, only trouble is............... all the available environments do not work in LAWS, I use XG edit to control the SW1K FX, trouble is it does not seem to want to change or edit patches (MIDI sounds) in a Logic song. My songs are primarily guitar/bass/ vocal/ midi drum based, with the keyboardy stuff from the SW1K providing the odd flourish and weird sound! However, rather than just use the 128 or so Gen MIDI sounds, I'd like to be able to select any of the SW sounds through a Logic enviro. BTW, all the available enviro's (on the Yamaha CD, or on the various logic web pages etc) DO NOT WORK with Silver 3.6, due to the limited implementation of the environment in the Windows Silver version. any ideas anyone? Please dont talk about "bank change mesages" or Sysex thru, as this sort of talk is deeply scary to a midi phobic guitarist- I just want to be able to select all the fab sounds that I can audition by name in XG edit- and use them to create some very strange and totally un-commercial music.
