I can't comment on digital performer: never used it. However, I've used
Protools and imo Protools and Logic can't be compared.
Protools is still much better for audio editing. Logic is a more
creative tool for arranging, composing etc. The new automation brings
Logic a big step closer to Protools, but there's still a way to go: I
personally want to see sample accurate waveform zoom in the arrangment.
I want to see timestretching of audio in the arrangment the same way
Protools does it. Groups have to be added for mixing (Logic Control has
a button named "groups", so it looks like that one is on its way) etc.
All in all, both Logic and Protools has its strengths and weaknesses.
They don't fully replace eachother imo.

Bye,
Joeri

This is exactly what we need!! So how about being our "lobbyist" to Emagic? Represent our "special interest" group. I can see it now...You have a political career awaiting you infront of your eyes:-))

What do you think I'm doing half of the time? :-)))
Of course I'm lobbying for features I want. I'm also lobbying for good
features that I picked up on the LUG etc.
And I'm not alone.

Cheers,
Joeri
