Indeed, the Audiowerk2 has 'native' drivers that integrate extremely well
with Logic. You're probably using EASI MME/DirectX or ASIO drivers with your
AMIII... while the Audiowerk2 just has its own simple checkbox in the audio
driver settings, it doesn't need to use EASI or ASIO drivers at all.

But to answer your question, if your sound card is working just fine for
your needs right now the Audiowerk2 itself probably wouldn't do you much
good. Even if you do plan to keep the AMIII though, the one reason you might
still want to get this kit is because it qualifies you for the competitive
upgrade discount price for Logic Audio Platinum (Mac or PC). Even if you
don't use the sound card, the Competitive Upgrade price of Logic Audio
Platinum was around $450 if I recall correct when I went into the nearest
Guitar center.... The retail price of Logic Audio Platinum 4 was $799 I
believe. So if you were going to buy Logic Audio Platinum anytime soon, this
kit could save you $350. If you already have Logic Audio Silver or Gold
though, the Competitive Upgrade price would probably -not- be a good idea
since I'm pretty sure its cheaper to just upgrade from Silver/Gold to
Platinum than it is to get the Competitive Upgrade.

By the way the link I posted originally was incorrect - its

I think I'm using DIO. It sounds like a great deal for someone who doesn't
have Logic already - unfortunately I already have LAMP 5.0. However, the
other thing you didn't mention, is it comes with ZAP doesn't it?

Yep, Zap (Mac/PC), as well as WaveBurner for the Mac only. And yeah, it
really is a great deal... Since most people in the Logic communities already
own Logic hopefully I can catch someone's eye who either needs another copy
of Logic for another machine, or maybe someone who's conscious has finally
realized how truly amazing Logic is and is bugging them to get a liscensed
copy of it.. :-)

Cheers,
Jeremy
