The Logic Off Topic list

I was recently trying to back up my audio file drive to another 
drive while in OSX.  The process kept stopping when it reached 
certain files that it said I didn't have the write permissions for.  
No matter what I changed the permission settings to it wouldn't 
work.  What am I missing?
