The Logic Off Topic list

I am a Windows user who now must buy a
MAC...anyway....

I am very confused by the different models that are
offered. I have a catalog called MAC Connection and
they seem to have the following:

1. eMAC G4

2. Power MAC G5 (I guess the most powerful and cool
looking?)

3. iMAC

4. Power MAC G4

5. The Laptops, which I don't think I will get
involved with

I should also mention that I do video editing, Web
Design and other similar addictions. I will probably
never open the machine, as I llike to use USB,
Firewire etc.... I will probably only use the computer
for Logic Pro, as I have invested quite a bit in the
PC world.

Suggestions are welcome to my email address, which is
chazperx@.... Any and all comments are welcome,
good or bad, but I really need to be pointed in the
right direction.
