OT here will help relieve LUG

While splitting up the list to Mac or Win users, might seem to be a
help in getting email under control, I would find myself checking both
to see what issues Mac users have, I use Win.

I believe that just getting the "OT" off of the "LUG" will be a
great help with that, and to seperate Mac & Win users is not needed,
at least at the present time.IMO.

What I don't understand is, what's so great about getting these
lists as e-mail anyway, I use "Web only", and it's been fine for me.
I've got links to them right on my task bar. What am I missing by not
receiving these lists by e-mail, or even the the digest by e-mail?

regards,
df

Well df,
Not everyone has flat rates for being on the web. In Europe I know that it isn't cheap reading your mail on the web, if you have a dial-up connection; it could be still about 0.05 euro a minute, that's app. $ 0.05 a minute. If you have a cable connection, it still costs you about 50 euro a month, which isn't cheap either I think. That's why people get their mail, and read it offline.

Ahh, I can understand that for sure, now that you reminded me. I've
been on cable here in the states for a long time, where I'm sure it
must be cheaper than some most places on this planet, and I'm sorry to
say , I just didn't even think of that, I'm online constantly. That
makes sense to me then to get on and get off, if you're on dialup.
