The Logic Off Topic list

Hi there everyone! Once I saw a friend of mine sending a reverb fx to 
the singer headphones but without using an external device...I 
remember he used cool edit pro. I can do it in Logic (in the school, 
they are using a Mackie Onix firewire mixer, the only thing I have to 
do is to insert a reverb plugin to the audio channel and I hear it 
when the singer speaks before recording anything!!! but I try to do it 
at home using Cubase sx 3 and I can't!!! I'm using a MOTU 828 (not 
mkII, the old first one) Does it have to do with "direct mnitoring"? 
or what???? I don't understand!!! Please help me!
