I have used IAR/Segger with Atmel - no problems. _____ From: lpc2000@yahoogroups.com [mailto:lpc2000@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Mark Butcher Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2005 1:27 PM To: lpc2000@yahoogroups.com Subject: [lpc2000] Moving processors (IAR / JLINK) Hi All As much as I love the LPC2000 I have to do a 'quick' project with the Atmel ATS91SAM7 - mainly due to its inbuilt MAC and DMA on the serial interfaces. [When the new LPC model with MAC is available next year it may be considered as well]. The questions are these - to any one which may have already tried or knows - can I use my present tools? I use the IAR Embedded Workbench with the Segger J-Link JTAG debugger and assue no problem basically building projects for the SAM7. The JTAG interface should also be basically compatible but will there be any hitches? - and which demo/evaluation board should I order to start trying? Will also post in the SAM7 group but feedback from someone with LPC background would be great. Regards Mark Butcher www.mjbc.ch _____ YAHOO!
