This is a set of Python tools that convert GDB remote commands to ARM EmbeddedICE/RT instructions. I am submitting this month an article to Circuit Cellar with PyICE details for the usual parallel port interface. Our USB interface uses FTDI's new FT2232C chip and allows both JTAG and serial communications. Full details for both interfaces will be available at http://armoid.com/pyice. BTW, the Python module for FTDI's direct drivers has already been posted (for Windows) at http://armoid.com/pyusb. FTDI sent us a preliminary release of the Linux driver so we are also working in the Linux version. Stay tuned.
