Lpc2000

Check out the .5 pitch DF-12 series of connector from Hirose 
Electronic Co. Ltd. - here's a typical example - Digikey part number 
H2756-ND

I'm going to give this a try and build both connectors on a small 
pcboard as Leon suggested earlier.
