Indeed, there are a lot of these boards out there, either poststamp size or DIP32/40 size. I use these: http://www.embeddedartists.com/products/boards/ fairly cheap (35 - 45 EUR range) and each of their boards is almost delivered as a complete development kit containing a quickstart manual and a CD with software - this really got me up&running within 1 hour after unpacking the box - the biggest problem was finding a 5V powersupply with the correct cable :-) Specially I like the RS232 connector on the boards, now I can just concentrate on my IO without bothering how to connect it to my (development) PC. The lpc213x and 214x boards can even be powered by USB but if you cut up an unused USB cable any breadboard will be able to power from USB ;-) Rob Earl Bollinger wrote: > www.newmicros.com has the nifty little Tini2106, Tini2136 and > Tini2138 Arm(tm) units with a Phillips ARM MCU on a 24 pin .100" board > which is about 1" square in size.
