Incredible download speeds ...
If I have to download 64 kB to RAM for running (or flash programming)
the wiggler will do this in 4 secs, the JTAGjet in 0.0000... secs. After
this I spend at least 1800 secs to step through my program for debugging
and most of this time I will just look at what happened with a
flabbergasted look on my face :-) So I am not that concerned with
download speed. I am used to debugging a system with a 204 MHz ARM926
and a megabyte-or-so image using a RealView ICE. Downloading takes a few
secs but stepping through my code is fast - even if I have some watches
out there that do contain large data arrays (something you really want
to avoid).

Hence download speed and flashing memory is not my concern but reading
(preferably) small pieces of RAM after every step is. How fast can you
step through the code with your debugger, do you see any real delays or
can you just step at (full speed) 2 key/mouseclicks per seconds?
