Buy LPC2138 parts

Buy LPC2138 parts

2006-01-16 by gtechnzltd

Hi there,

I'm in New Zealand and want to get Qty 10 of LPC2138 parts. A supplier
a bit closer than www.digikey.com would be great to reduce frieght costs.

Is any one in NZ using this Part?

Thanks for your time.

Thanks Don,
Adilam are asking $20us for these parts when Digikey lists them for $11us.
If Adilam are the only option I have to take it.

Once again thanks Don,

Lucky you.......I am in Europe, like Philips, and would just love to
be able to get small quantities at these prices!

BTW, In the past I found the cheapest place to get the (scotish) FTDI
chips was from a shop in Australia....post included!

What it is about you chaps down under.....how do you get your parts so
cheaply! I think I shall get my sister to do my European compnent
soucing, she lives on the banks peninsular south of Christchurch, that
should be remote enougth to get cheap prices :-)

HA! Think about it... Where do you suppose the majority of
semiconductor fabrication is done today? Philipines, Tiawan, China,
Indonesia, ...

Hi,

the digikey prices are very much international. There is always
shipping and handling which can be a lot if you buy only one device
but their prices if you order a few are very good.
For Germany go:
http://de.digikey.com/ and type LPC2138 in the search window (prices
in Euro)
For the UK go here:
http://dkc1.digikey.com/uk/digihome.html
prices in Pound Sterling

May be this helps you to get good prices in Europe.

Bob

You have another possible option:
Future has a branch in New Zealand,
The 2138 price is $8.75 US, and for all LPC micros, Future will sell
small qty's. (if you only want one or 2, you can probably get them as
free samples) There's lots in stock in the Boston warehouse.

Yes it does, thanks. I'm actually in Italy so the german Euro site is
the most appropriate if I can manage the German!

I had "known" about digikey. Years ago I ordered from the US but it
took eons to arrive by surface mail and courier cost an arm and a leg.

I did not know they had bases in Europe now, or that they had such a
good range, I have found tons of interesting stuff. Thanks again!
