Philips LPC21xxx and Firewire

Hello, does anybody of you know how to connect such a Philips controller to a FIREWIRE interface? Lets say with a Firewire( IEEE 1394) chip from Philips? It is needed for a real time measurement apllication. Thanks and regards G.Ramsch
