Problems with LPC2000 Flash Utility

Problems with LPC2000 Flash Utility

2004-10-14 by andlsouza

Hello,

I'm using the configuration below:

LPC2294 using Phytec phyCORE Single Board Computer and emulator Keil
under Windows XP and LPC2000 Flash Utility v 2.2.0.

When i press "Read Device ID" button, the program Flash Utility
returns another device name, (LPC2194).

Although the sample program "BLINK" is loaded correctly in the flash,
the D3 led doesn´t blink as expected when i press the S2 switch
(Reset).

I have checked the cables (USB and RS232) and the jumpers. They are
ok.

I would appreciate if someone could help me on this subject.

Regards,
André

Something I just discovered, you have to change another jumper, there seems
to be one position for programming and another for running the code.
On the MB40 its JP3, but thats probably not much use to you.

Paul,

I´m using the HD200 develop board. For this board, do you know what jumper i need to change to make a test?

Thanks.

On the Tiny ARM board, it says ;-
JP3 connects P0.14 port to pullup (1-2) or pulldown (2-3) resistor

Try doing the same for P0.14 on your board. Not sure if its got the same
configuration though.

Hi,
I uses LPC2292 and I have this same problem with DEVICE ID.
When I want to find 'Part ID:50462483' in
'Philips LPC2xxx Microcontroller Part ID Table:' document, this ID is
also for LPC2194.
'LPC Flash Utility V2.1.0' give me the same ID. I don't know, where is
problem and how is reason as well.

BTW: I don't uses phytec board, I uses my test board (http://www.
geocities.com/kralikbo/sch.jpg).
