Lpc2000

I am trying to activate XCLK on lpc2294 pin 40 (P3.23). I use the 
following setup:

PLLCON - 0x3
PLLCFG - 0x25
PLLSTAT - 0x725

VPBDIV - 0

PINSEL2 - 0x0C6169E4 (addr A2-A19, CS2, CS3, XCLK - ON).

The status registers confirm this setting, however, I can't see XCLK.

I will appreciate any suggestions,

You might have to set the direction bit for that particular pin to output.

Thank you for the suggestion. The direction is selected automatically 
for non-GPIO pins according to the documentation. However, I tried 
anyway and it didn't help.
