I am downloading an elffile to the internal Flash. I write the sections with IAP. So far everything works. But after reset, the program doesnt start. I set the valid User Code Signature and i reserve the top 32 bytes of the internal Ram. Has anybody experience with that topic or a clue, what could go wrong? Thanks in advance, Klaus

Hello Klaus, if you have a bootloader flash tool you can check at UART0 if you can connect with that tool after RUN command to your bootloader without asserting P0.14 and /Reset. If your bootloader responses your user signature is wrong. Another solution is to start the IC and stop it with your JTAG tools to see "where" it is running. Check if this address is in bootloader section or in user code (maybe bad exception). Sten --- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, "Klaus" <klaus276@y...> wrote:

Hi, During the reset, you would like to verify the state of pins which give the boot mode : internal flash, external peripherical on CS0 or other. good luck Alexandre

I misread the user manual of the LPC2xxx and had a pullup on the wrong pin. The LPC2xxx processors don't have internal pullup resistors. You have to make sure that P0.14 is pulled high with something like a 10K resistor.
