Ok, I know this was covered before, but I can't find my notes on it. If I have a powerstrip with the usual three MOV's and a capacitor or two can I just cut everything out and be all set? These components are situated on a circuit board inside the power rack in such a way that I really can't trace wiring. Is it at all typical to run the ground through a capacitor so that I wouldn't want to cut it out? I have one central Surgex unit which provides all of the (non-MOV) protection and filtering that I need, so I just want to convert all of my power racks and strips to being just switched sets of outlets. Suggestions? Thanks in advance to all! Ivan
