BTW, The Synth of Doom cab has been carefully planned to allow deep modules anywhere. Because of its concave mounting profile, the top row would be the worst case, since pcbs are mounted at the top of the module, and since the tilt of the top row thrusts the back of the pcb up into the top. That's why the top rail is spaced about 1.5" lower than the top in front - to allow for that clearance. I keep my Time Machines mounted in the top row with a little clearance to spare.
