Seems like a credible source though. I am hopeful
in the near future this will be reality. I guess we will
see.

Sorry to say that this is not working. I called the
number for Primus. They told me they weren't
handling this title and then transfered me to
McGraw-Hill. They said the book is out of print and
they couldn't get it. I asked if perhaps it was
going to be in stock in a few days and I was told
that was doubtful. I got their phone number
(1-800-338-3987) and I will try again in a week or
so.

I really love that book. I also enjoyed working through
Deverahi's "Complete Guide to Synthesizers" (remember that one?) and
Robert Train Adams' "Electronic Music Composition for Beginners".
With the current revival of modular synthesizers, is there any market
for these books? Even the 'virtual' analogs - from the Nord Modular
down to the Red Darkstar - would seem to indicate a revived interest
in a more academically defined approach to sound design. Looking at
my bookshelf I see Dodge and Jerse's "Computer Music", which I recall
does not once contain the word 'MIDI'... ah, the good old days...
