MOTM

Hi all,
 I'm getting ready to do some recording (needed by tonight) and thougt I'd 
ask the list this question... Is there anyway to use my Yamaha FC-7 
(sweepable & passive) footpedal as a modulation signal attentuator?

 I'd like to use it to introduce some kind of tonal change in a solo I'm 
about to record, but can only do this if it's an easy (quick) thing to setup. 
I'd imagine it would have to be connected in series with whatever I want to 
control?

If you had the MOTM-850 pedal interface, it would turn the controller 
position into a CV, which you could use to control the amplitude of a 
VCA, and run any kind of modulation through it.

 Whoops, sorry for the last post (blame Yahoo! ;).

 What I just accidentally sent to Moe was that I do hope one day to 
buy the MOTM 850. It's just that I'm faced with a deadline of tonight 
to record this piece and would like to have footpedal control if 
possible. 

 BTW, what kinds of modulation routings are MOTM-850 owners using 
with their pedals?
