See attached BMP of Serge $380 VCA when you put a 6V pk-pk 1200 Hz square
wave in (audio)
and apply 0.5V control voltage. Nice. Yep, gotta love the Serge.

For pop quiz: what is interesting about the positive/negative peaks of the
waveform?

Interesting?  Gosh, where do you start?

Aside from the huge transients?  How about that significant rebound from the
negative going spike?  How about that whole thing is offset to the negative
side of zero?

the 110 is square, the negative on the serge(or should i say surge?) 
is about 25% shorter.  is it supposed to be totally square?
