Gino may have a point, and that point may well be true in other countries.  
MA may own the rights to the Mellotron name, but obviously not to any

Since Streetly was first with the M4000, you can definitely enjoin  
importation of his rompler into the US by filing a Restraint of Trade  complaint.  
This sort of harassment is the sort of stuff that US law  works on.  On a 
civil level in the US whoever is more right prevails.  


If I was distributing Streetly product in the US Dave and Markus would  
both have heartburn.

Markus the Swede seems to be hell bent on perpetuating friction  betwixt 
Streetly and his goodself and we don't understand  why.  He has continued with 
the name M4000D for his new digital 'tron  according to the _mellotron.com_ 
(http://mellotron.com/)  website.   This will only serve to confuse the 
market place and lead people to us that  would have gone solely to him.  It can 
work the other way also but to  what end?  We really cannot understand the 
marketing strategy and  invite comments without fear of reprisal.
