is up to $899, and the seller has made clarification on both his
purchase date and age of the unit. apparently due to contact from
someone from the list, his memory was jogged and corrections made.

Yep, it's been at that price for a number of days now.  Hopefully 
someone has realized just how much work is going to have to go into this 
thing.

What I pointed out to the seller is that my #908 was dated 1973 (per M&J), 
thereby making his 1973 or beyond.
$899?  Are you kidding?  W.C. Fields had it right . . . there's one (you 
know) born every minute.

Addendum: The seller also wrote back to me stating his belief that the 
frame/etc. was true, while acknowledging that it did need a lot of work.  Does 
anyone on the list live close enough to this beast to have actually inspected it 
during its eBay run?  Or is it in as bad a condition as the MusicMaster 600 that 
I checked out in L.A.?  I figured that in the best-case scenario, the blue 
monster would need at least another $3K of work.
