Hi Balint, Unfortunatly I don't have specific knowlege to answear your question. "i have download Matrixed for m 1000 , > do you know , can i > use this program for m6 ??" Since you have the program there is no harm in trying it out. You won't hurt any thing. I will consult with my friend this weekend and see what else I can find out. In the meantime I can tell you that while the M1000 and the M6 are veary similar as far as their architechture goes, the the SysEx commands are just slightly slightly different. I have read that the M6 can be used to program the M1000 but I am not sure if using a patch editor designed for the M1000 will work on the M6. The two URLS below will take you to a site where you can examin the SysEx for the M6 and M1000. http://www.youngmonkey.ca/nose/audio_tech/synth/Oberheim-Matrix6R.html http://www.youngmonkey.ca/nose/audio_tech/synth/Oberheim-Matrix1000.html --- balinttihamer <quijote@...> wrote: > i got a PC Athlon 2800 , and loth of hardware gear , > i have editors > for my other syntis , but i like to have easy to use > editor for M6 , i > saw some ob 6000 on the net , that cost i think 50$ > , that looks like > ok .... and i have download Matrixed for m 1000 , > do you know , can i > use this program for m6 ?? > my gear list : > roland xv 5080 , jd 990 , s 760 , Doepfer ms 404 , > Virus C, Waldorf Xt > ,yamaha An1x .... will buy a M6 next week ... and > wish in near future > some old analog gears ..junos , jupiters ,mks ... > ;-) > but im now fascinated with M6 , i was download some > nice demo sounds , > and a price ;-)) i find it for 200 euros .... > so i read abot combination of behringer controler > with M6 , have you > make a predet for M6???? > > cheers > Balint > www.goasia-project.com > > > > --- In oberheim@yahoogroups.com, james > <rakker16mm@y...> wrote: > > Hi, > > > > What is the best M6 editor depends on what else is > in > > your studio and what you plan on doing. > > > > What kind of computer and OS are you planning to > use? > > > > You might be able to pic up an old Mac or PC super > > cheap and find some old editing software like Edit > One > > (my current set-up). > > > > I have seen some free stuff here and there from > time > > to time.
