If anyone is interested to know what the solution was, then read this ! It's possible to install any soundcard into the Oberheim MC-1000 with a compatible WaveBlaster connector. I managed to get hold on a Yamaha DB50XG soundcard, and it's fully editable from the MC-1000. great sounds even from a soundcard that is so "old" ! I can recommend this to anyone that have a MC-1000 from Oberheim...
