Glad your M6R is ok now. I saw your SOS on the Electro-Music site, but couldn't reply (userid/password issue) Mine boots up with the dreaded display issues, multiple reboots ultimately takes care of it. But each time I hold my breath. It's been this way for about 7 years now. Anyway - hello - new member here. Have had a M6R/M1000 combo for many years now. I just redid my studio, and now have the M6R right in front of me. It's getting more use now! I have used soft editors before, but now use the front panel. I'm old school that way. I use them as a pair, same patches in both, detuned and panned. My M1000 is brighter sounding for sure. I had the M1000 as master for the group thang, but now have M6R the boss, so editing/passing patches is easier. It's been a while since I used them very much.
