       I own both a Matrix 1000 and a Matrix
 6R. I am considering selling the Matrix 1000, but would like
 to save the patch banks from it first so that I have access
 to the sounds on the Matrix 6R. Has anyone had success with
 this? 
 
 Also, can anyone
 suggest a good (preferably cheap or free) SYSEX utility
 that works with these synths that might help me accomplish
 the goal? Even better, has someone already ripped out the
 Oberheim Matrix 1000 banks?  
 
 I've been googling around and have been
