nice to hear from a local member since you too had Upscale Music repair your synth. Mario was referred to me by the guys at Electronic Service Labs in Weathersfield/Newington when I sought a repair person for a tag sale find (Wurlitzer Model 100) that had a serious ground hum problem (common for these) and I must say that Mario reduced the noise by 70% without a complete restoration and at a fair $. A Pigtronix "GateKeeper" has done a fine job from there in silencing the electric piano during recording. Last week I went in to pick up a Magnatone Esty M50 that was DOA, Mario got it working with a new tube and lots of cleaning of corroded connections, etc.. Next up is the Matrix 6, seems like it may take awhile. I will refer Mario to any tech in this group that may be (willing) able to advise based upon the testing results up to this point....Thanks, Michael...203 238-4882. Meriden,Ct
