Adrian this is , let's say a "fault" of the m1000 and has nothing to do with the controller used. midi sysex compare to midi CC are long strings of data and the m1000 due to its age and HW architecture was not one of the fastest thing to react on sysex strings (actually midi ccs are not a dart either but better then sysex for sure). The idea is to use them to program a sound if u need real time expression is much better to map the key patch parameters to a midi cc mod wheel or pedals, u still have a few u can use in the m1000. yes the swiftkick site is great ;-) Regards --------------------------------------------------Env1-----Env2--Env3----------- Andrea.TONI@... I just recently read the review of the scarce controller that was made by access some time ago and it was mentioned that when a rotary encoder is turned the response is quite choppy. can this also be said of the controllers you have had experience with. oh and there was some really useful stuff on swiftkick btw. cheers Adrian
