Good work, Damir.  I've repaired many DMXs and I've seen bad 4011s on voice 
cards a few times before.  Not enough times that I would put in a socket, 
personally, though a good quality socket shouldn't cause any problems.  I 
seem to remember that some of the earliest DMXs may have had all the ICs on 
the voice cards socketed.  After a while many sockets were eliminated to 
save on cost.
