Re: ear2ear analog patches for the matrix 1000

2008-07-24 by narfman96

Hi Gregg,

I got a reply back from Rene Zerm about these patches. They are still
actively selling these. Here is the reply:

"of course the 'Analog Dreams' patches are
still available, your order is welcome. :)
We are pleased with knowing you had a discussion
about these sounds, that make the Matrix-1000
sound like a modern Dance synth.
Best,
Rene Zerm ear2ear Team"

So for 35 euros plus shipping 200 Matrix-1000 patches can be had.

I'm planning on writing a bank or too once I learn a bit more about
this synth module. The difference is I will share all my work with
the group. I recently picked up a Matrix-1000 that had a bad voice
chip. I bought 2 CEM3396 narrow body voice chips from Kristopher Maad
of Cheetah MS6 fame for $15.00 US each shipping included. The
original CEM voice chip had issues with one oscillator not sounding
or its envelopes were flaky with bleeps and clicks. The diag program
made it easy to isolate the 4th voice (U401) as being the culprit.
Simple to swap out with the socket and all...

Let us know what they sound like if you purchase these patches.

Fran
