i wrote a patch in max-msp to edit my matrix 1000.
i did this since i was not so happy with the editors i found for mac.
i am willing to share the editor with everyone - you can also use it if you don�t own max, since it works also with max runtime.

but i�ve reached my midi-sysex-understanding-limit, and some help would be needed by someone who is into this...

i can now control all the single parameters but not the global ones, since i don�t really understand the global messages, where the whole patch is sent. 
it is lists of 275 numbers, i don�t know which parameter is put where in the list.

but i still do not understand....
especially also when i want to map patch-data coming from the matrix to my maxpatch...?

is there anyone who could help me?
or should i be more specific in my question?

Since Matrix-1000 don't allow single global parameter edit, you have to get/send the whole parameters.

I think sysex dumps from Matrix-1000 have to be managed as lists in Max to know each parameter value.

Is that what you mean?

Just choose Data dump in Matrix and set it to "1do". Then press Enter and only the current patch data will be sent to Max and the list will be shorter now.

I guess this has to be the cleanest way to manage sysex parameter data in Max.

Just tell me how long is the list, how many lines, etc.
