Matrix 6R patch editor / patches

2005-07-30 by gil_we

Does anyone knows some really great pacthes for Matrix 6 ?

I tried loading my 6R with some patches I found, nothing exciting...
I guess the Matrix is capabale of some great fat basses, pads and wierd
sounds, but does anyone knows where to find some ?

Also, any free patch editor / controller ?

Thanks

Hello

A vvery good site for synths is:

http://www.sonicstate.com/synth/oberheim_mat6.cfm

here you find links reviews and other stuff

instead of buying a controller like the access controller for the matrix1000 \u2013 buy the behringer bcf or bcr -2000

you can programm them connect them to the usb port and you can control a computer based sequenzer synths etc. \u2013 programming is easy

editor:

http://www.jsynthlib.org/

as far as I know the best freeware is:

http://home.hccnet.nl/mark.strijbos/syn/m2001/index.html

or you use soundquest midiquest ( www.squest.com )

or the sounddiver from emagic

there is also an editor ( see attachment its called kiwi )

manual:

http://www.synthesizer.at/download/download.htm

patches:

http://www.proaudiolab.com/urbansounds/

you also can order a cd at ebay with thousands of patches etc.

hope that helps

Thanks,

I really feel I need to try to max out the 6R before selling it over.
Need to understand its actual potential first.
