Matrix 6/1000 patches (not the factory ones)

Hi! i've noticed that in the web there's not a share of new and original sysex patches for matrix 1000/6. Do you know something about it?

All I know is I didn't manage to write many for the Matrix 6 as it was too complex for the amount of time I had when I got it.
I used som of the scrambling features in Unisyn, Galaxy probably, to create some more in a particular style I was keen on.
They get named stupidly and generate hours of work reviewing and renaming.

I have collected a lot possibly most of what's been out there, but there aren't really a thousand different sounds to be had, so they tend to be very close to something I already had.
The SoundDiver concatenation of patch dumps into one large library will offer the chance to throw out actual duplicates,

regardless of what the name is, which helps a bit, but if some unnoticeable controller has been changed, it treats it as a new patch.
Also the lack of name storage in the M1000 makes it difficult to keep track

I have produced forms which give a space for entering comments, so when people borrow my M6 they can review what's in it, init?
But nobody weants to do that, it's too much effort when you have a particular thing you're trying to do, like play a keyboard and get the track moved on.
I do understand, but still......

So I have a couple of hundred that profess to be different in some way. They are stored as SoundDiver Libraries though.
I divided them up later into genres, like Vangelis, Oberheim ( OBXa, OB8 style) and Classic subdivisions like Horns Strings Brass etc, but it's a losing battle.
Now we have samplers, that's all a bit lame.

Is there a particular type of patch you're looking for?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
