Actually, those are the binaries of the roms, not the source. Aparently (I saw it on a forum, so how true it is, im not sure) the actual source code was floating around. So, if anyone has seen that... --- In oberheim@yahoogroups.com, "gwpt" <geekon@...> wrote:

You mean the disassembled ROM files? You'll have to find a 68B09 assembler and do it yourself. If anyone had hacked the code to make it better(if that's possible) They would be selling a new OS Eprom as I'm sure plenty of people would want one, and would pay money for it. ________________________________ From: gwpt <geekon@...> To: oberheim@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, 12 April 2012, 11:26 Subject: [oberheim] Re: Matrix 1000 Source code Actually, those are the binaries of the roms, not the source. I think that the reference to source code is to this site: http://wolzow.mindworks.ee/analog/m1k-firmware.htm -due to the use of the term in the midi spec, and the authors extensive analysis of the firmware, probably by disassembly. Joel Sent from my iPhone
