MAtrix 12 Aftertouch Models and EEPROM OS question

Does anyoen know which serial numbers had the aftertouch? Also were there any OS upgrades for these MAtrix 12 synths? Coudl you update the software VIA a sequencer and MIDI or if there even was software OS updates were they only done by replcing the EEPROMS? Anyone know?
