anyway Its exactly the same Ic in the two format,a friend of mine mounted a wide body on a matrix1000
and it worked perfectly, I have bought a couple some moths ago for mainteneance of my M6-M6r

are you sure? afaik, this guy sells NARROW bodied 3396 chips only. they go into matrix-1000. m6r requires WIDE body 3396 chips, make no mistake. wide-body versions are an order of magnitude more difficult to get.

Try re-seating the chip or chips.  IIRC many of them are socketed, so, CAREFULLY, unplug each one and, CAREFULLY, plug it back in (don't bend the legs)!  I fixed mine, this way.  If it doesn't work, then leave voice 6 out.

oops, i see he has both. yes i know it's the same (although people often claim they sound a bit different!), i just wanted to point out they are not DIRECTLY swappable, you have to build an adapter. why would anyone go through the hassle of putting a WB into an M1000 is, however, beyond me as NB is pretty easiliy available :) for example:

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
