So far so good. I ve given Roland the official good to go notice and Boomer said he s start referring people. Korg doesn t really support older instruments

... I don t see how a problem on the 367 would cause single voices on the 366 to malfunction. My money is on the 366 here.

You could carefully swap the socketed chips in voices 5 and 6 and see if the problem goes to 5. My default answer is that the problem is still on the 367. On

I had a similar problem, also on voices 5 and 6. I thought maybe it was a problem with IC38 or C55, C56 or something in that area since the problem got worse
2010-03-18 by synth.junkie
Thanks for the reply. I have swapped over both the SSM2044 (IC32) and SMM2056 (IC34)from a working voice and the problem still exists. Tried it on both faulty

2010-03-18 by Andrew Jury
Well, a nice easy one to try would be a swap the EG chip (IC34) from a working voice and then the filter chip from (IC34) to see if the voice quality improves.

Hi, I have just repaired my polysix due to the batery leakage problem. It all functions ok now but the only problem is that the last 2 voices are distorted

One of my copies of the Polysix service manual has some handwritten notes in that section that says to adjust Cutoff on the front panel when checking CN05-7

Of the many battery-damaged P6s I ve repaired, practically none had a bad CPU chip -- most times the problem is with the circuit board. One thing you might try
