Sequential circuits samplers

Is there anything particular you did to get it to work?  What kind of interface are you using, 
USB or serial?   DSP Quatrro actually works for prophet to mac transfers but the demo 
won't let you transfer to the computer and I'm not looking to spend money on an editor I 
was hoping that something I already had or could find freeware would work.  I have Bias 
Peak 4 which has SDS Midi but for some reason it just doesn't work.
