Which Atari editor are you trying to use? Just curious since I don't have an Atari setup but instead use an old Mac with ancient Sound Designer software. One problem may be that the P2K uses 12bit sample format. Even though SDS is supposed to work with a generic driver a lot of the old samplers work best when whatever software you are trying to use has a specific SDS driver for that machine. Are you trying to send or receive from the P2K? Do you have both MIDI cables connected? Are you using an emulator or a real ST? I could never get Steem or any of the other ST emulators to do anything with external MIDI.
