Going full circle, back to Raymond Scott, his recording 'Soothing Sounds for Baby' (Basta Music, 1997), was composed on his Electronium & Clavivox instruments. The sounds were intended to be played to babies in varying states, eg. distress, play, feeding & bed-time. Personally, i'd like one of Raymond's 'electronic sound producing ashtrays'! Matt
