The expansion capabilities of these machines are great. You are correct. I have an XL-7(XROM)with the MROM(MP-7), DROM(PX-7) and the POP ROM giving me all Command Station units in one box for travel purposes. I also have a Proteus 2000 with the Techno and Beat Garden ROMS(Orbit 3) and the Vintage ROM giving me the Vintage Pro, Orbit 3 and P2K all in one shell and an XL-1 with the Pure Phatt ROM in it giving me 2 in 1. It's great. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Fab Claxton" <fabclaxton@y...> wrote: > rEalm, > Let me get this straight....If I were to buy any one of these three > machines, I can just pick up ROM packages (ie: Protean Drums, > Mo'Phatt or Xtreme Lead) and install them on my version (let's say > the XL-7), virtually giving me all three options in one handy > machine?
