Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Right on time :)
I used to mix on  an Mackie CR1604, but since the mixer quit its job, I use
my pc, and now I am considering a new mixer.
I have three options:

1. 24 i/o soundcard(s) with controller
2. digital mixer with 20-24 channels
3. analog mixer with 24 channels....

and about $1000 to spend.

any thoughts are welcome, I guess I'll stick with option three....
