Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I can see it recieving midi  but it won't start.... but if I connect to the Yamaha it does start

  I think I confused more people than I helped with that "tip".  People
  couldn't figure out how to set tempo to external, so I indicated that
  "0" was external.  Once you set it to 0, it shows EXT.  If it's still
  not syncing at that point, make sure the MIDI in LED is flashing,
