I use my XL-7 with my Roland VS HD recorder and use the midi clock sync and
start/stop from the VS. This works for me OK so I will check my settings
when I get home.......
The flashing MIDI in LED is flashing continuously from the MIDI clock. The
start/stop is a single midi message.....one flash......

I think I confused more people than I helped with that "tip". People<BR>
couldn't figure out how to set tempo to external, so I indicated that<BR>
"0" was external. Once you set it to 0, it shows EXT. If it's still<BR>
not syncing at that point, make sure the MIDI in LED is flashing,<BR>
